by - October 03, 2016

Hey Cupids,

After having a fabulous trip at the foothills of Trikuta and visiting a million years old cave we realized how much India has in store for us.

India-a land of rich culture and heritage which has manifested in various languages, temples, handicrafts, buildings and palaces and museums.

In view of this when we visited Jammu we decided to visit a beautiful palace, now turned into a gorgeous museum.

It was built in the 19th Century by Raja Amar Singh and throws much light on how various parts of India was governed and ruled by different Kings.

This palace also offers a beautiful view of the Tawi river valley.
If you happen to visit Jammu then this place should be on top of your list of “Things to do in Jammu”.

The beautiful mountains in the background offered marvelous views which will offer you a lifetime of experience.

After spending our leisure time at this beautiful museum we decided to go for shopping as we had one full evening and night with us.

At Katra/Jammu there are beautiful rugs and bed sheets available in various shops.

The rugs are made of soft wool and it’s a must buy if you happen to visit Jammu.

Next stay in touch with cupidtravellers and get to know the details about one beautiful temple that enchanted us so much that we were drawn towards it like a jerry mouse towards the cheese. We loved this temple so much that we visited it both the times - at dawn and dusk.

Regards

Dipika and
